Swimming

All children are able to access weekly swimming lessons in KS2.  

The National Curriculum requires that children are able to:

- swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres

- use a range of strokes effectively [for example, front crawl, breaststroke and backstroke]

- perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations

In our school, this is delivered through ensuring that children are able to complete the following tasks:
